Terms of use & privacy policy

1Lawful use

Deplao helps individuals and businesses manage communication on Zalo, Facebook and Telegram for lawful work and everyday contact: bringing accounts together, customer care and workflow automation. It is not designed for, and must not be used for:

• Sending spam or advertising without the recipient’s consent
• Collecting or trading personal information unlawfully
• Distributing illegal, pornographic or violent content
• Fraud, scams, harassment, threats or any act that violates the laws of Vietnam
• Accessing or taking over other people’s accounts without permission
• Violating the Terms of Service of Zalo / Facebook / Telegram

2Where Deplao comes from & third-party libraries

Deplao is an open-source project built on top of public open-source projects on GitHub and public APIs:

• Zalo: connects through the open-source library zca-js (github.com/RFS-ADRENO/zca-js, MIT license), developed by the community.
• Facebook Messenger: connects through the open-source library fbchat-v2 (github.com/m008v/fbchat-v2), developed by the community.
• Telegram: uses the official API Telegram publishes for developers.
• Deplao does not steal source code or data, does not hack and does not break into or tamper with the servers or systems of Zalo, Facebook or Telegram. It runs only on the user’s computer, signs in with the user’s own account (QR scan / sessions the user provides) and works like an ordinary messaging app.
• Deplao is not affiliated with, sponsored, endorsed or certified by VNG (Zalo), Meta Platforms (Facebook, Messenger) or Telegram. All names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
• Third-party libraries remain the property and responsibility of their authors; Deplao does not control them and gives no guarantee for them.

3User data & privacy

• Data is stored entirely locally on your computer. We do not collect, store or process your messages, contacts or customer information on any server.
• No third-party sharing: Deplao includes no third-party data-collection, analytics or advertising SDKs.
• Sessions: cookies / sessions are encrypted and stored locally, used only to keep your connection alive from your machine.
• No passwords stored: the app signs in with a QR code / cookies and never asks for or stores your Zalo password.

4Account & data security

Deplao is built so that all data is processed and stored on your own computer.

• Local storage: messages, contacts, CRM data and settings live in a database on your machine.
• No intermediary server: the app connects Zalo / Facebook / Telegram directly to your machine, never through our proxy.
• Encrypted sessions: stored securely in the app’s private data area.
• Self-destructing Zalo messages: when a chat has “auto-delete” on, Zalo removes messages from Zalo devices, but Deplao keeps the copy saved on your machine (and in backups, if any).
• Cloud is optional: backups to Google Drive / Cloudflare R2 use your own account and are encrypted on your machine before upload.
• Regular backups: we recommend backing up the data folder weekly in case of disk failure.

524/7 operation

For automation (workflows, scheduled messages, real-time message delivery) to run continuously, the app must stay running in the background 24/7. You are responsible for stable power and Internet; shutting down or going offline interrupts running automations.

6Think before you use it

Please read carefully and decide for yourself before installing or using Deplao:

• The Zalo and Facebook connections rely on unofficial libraries. Using a third-party app may not comply with the terms of service of Zalo and Facebook; the platforms may restrict, suspend or permanently ban accounts at any time.
• Platforms can change at any time and break some features; Deplao makes no commitment to maintain or fix them within any timeframe.
• If you cannot accept these risks (especially for important accounts), please do not use the software, or try it first with a secondary account.
• By downloading, installing or using Deplao, you confirm you have read and understood this and voluntarily accept all risks.

7Responsibility & disclaimer

• Deplao is only a tool for your work. Every action (sending messages, adding friends, group invites, campaigns, workflows, auto-replies…) is set up and carried out by the user on their own account.
• The user is solely and fully responsible, before the law and towards third parties, for the content, purpose and manner of use, including compliance with the laws of Vietnam (cybersecurity, personal data protection, anti-spam, advertising…) and the terms of Zalo, Facebook and Telegram.
• The developers, authors and contributors accept no liability whatsoever for restricted or banned accounts, data loss, business losses, disputes with third parties or any legal consequence arising from the user’s use of the software: even if advised of the possibility of such damage.
• The user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the developers, authors and contributors against any claim, complaint or cost arising from their use of the software.
• The software is provided “as is” under the MIT license, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability or non-infringement of third-party rights.
• Data stored on your machine is your responsibility. Back it up regularly to avoid loss.

8Open source & redistribution

• Public source code: Deplao is an open-source project published on GitHub under the MIT license. You may view, use and contribute to the code.
• Redistribution: you may redistribute the software as-is or modified, provided you follow the license and keep the attribution.
• Limits: do not use the Deplao name or logo to promote your distribution without permission, and do not resell the software as a proprietary product.
